Question by dementors_suck: How beneficial is “lifting weights” using your own resistance by flexing?
Does my question make sense? Like, flexing your muscles to simulate the resistance in your muscles you feel when you actually have weights in your hands. Is that a useful substitute when I want to do some reps when I don’t have weights around, like sitting @ my desk @ work? Does anyone have any neat exercises using your own resistance?

Thanks!!

Well, when you lift weights your actually tearing your muscles, and when you are flexing they are just contracting, so no.
